NATHALIE DJURBERG Putting Down The Prey, 2008 Animierte Knetfiguren, Videoinstallation, Musik von Hans Berg 5:40 min. Ed.: 4/II

In Natalie Djurberg's video installations, the artist breaks many taboos and the viewer dives into eerie scenarios uncovering the ambivalent abbyss of human feelings and doings. The artist herself is responsible for everything: direction, camera, technical solutions, costumes, as well as design and production of the clay-figures which are then animated in the stop-motion technique. The electronic music plays an important role in Djurberg's films and is composed by her spouse Hans Berg.

The exhibition has been realized in cooperation with Giò Marconi, Milan

Nathalie Djurberg, born in 1978 in Sweden, studied in Gothenburg and Malmø. She lives in Sweden and Berlin.
