This exhibition of works by the american photographer Larry Clark, his third show at the gallery, will span his entire career from 1961 to the present. It starts with his earliest portrait of his friend Johnny Bridges, which Clark made with a Rolleiflex camera borrowed from his mother, and ends with stirring paintings from recent years. This Munich show marks the first time his paintings will be shown to the public and, as another first, it will also include his large-scale photo collages from 2011 / 12. While emphasizing recent work, the exhibition thus moves from one highlight to the next in providing an overview of this major artist´s oeuvre.
