From 25.04 to 14.06.2015, Kunstverein München presents “Serving Compressed Energy with Vacuum”, a survey of interdisciplinary work by Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven (born 1951, BEL). Van Kerckhoven was an Artist-In-Residence at the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Brussels from 1980 - 1986, which enabled her to further the pioneering work with emerging computer technologies she began in 1977 – from digital animation to video, super8 and interactivity. 16mm film, animation, drawing, graphics, installation, painting, publications, sculpture, silkscreen, sound, text, textile, and video will be densely installed throughout Kunstverein München's four halls, forming an X-ray of an artist's practice.

Opening: April 24, 2015, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
